Plans for thanksgiving
This Wednesday, I get to hang with some guy called “Burkman.” I was trying to remember the last time I saw him in person and I thought it was a long time ago but apparently, it was Nigel’s law school graduation. So the last time I saw Burkman, we were in Texas and we went to BBQ. I don’t think I can hope to top that.
Thursday is family time. This is actually going to be the smallest family gathering in the history of family gatherings I think. Grandparents, aunt, parents and us. My family can’t go anywhere without at least ten people in tow so this is significant.
Thursday afternoon/evening, we are heading to the Columbia River Gorge for a retreat from normal life and responsibility. This is our anniversary get away too so we are excited to have no agenda whatsoever.
Here are some pictures we took last weekend on the way and at Pittock Mansion:

It has some nice architecture.
